Malta Women’s Rugby 7s Tournament – 16th Feb – 19th Feb 2018

In Malta you find girls rugby too with 5 local clubs playing every weekend and a decent National 7 a side team, the local rugby girls have staged themselves very well against visiting rugby sides playing in 7s and even 10s. Numerous touring sides have enjoyed playing at Marsa with occasional triangular tournaments being held and rugby 7s competitions. Since 2013, in February, every year we host the Malta Women’s Rugby 7s Tournament where we usually host 3-5 foreign teams along with the local sides in a weekend tournament involving lots of rugby and of course social gatherings. For those who may be interested in an individual tour, interest in touring to Malta is constantly on the increase. The busiest months tend to be mid-Sept to early Nov for pre-season tours and late-March to May for end of season social tours.
