Most of all, Vets rugby tournaments are all about socializing but a good game of rugby goes a long way too and the setup here simply provides for a great weekend of events and testing of one's skills and stamina overall. Many European veteran rugby teams have now experienced the Malta Vets Rugby Tournament weekend and the feedback received has always been outstanding. The Malta Vets Rugby Tournament is organised yearly and is a very popular event staged on the Maltese islands which provide a perfect combination of weather, entertainment and a great rugby community. All these make up the ingredients of this fantastic rugby event, one which many teams keep coming back to as well. We have been running this event since 2004, once again we look forward to welcoming many veteran rugby teams from all over Europe for another awesome rugby weekend. All teams normally arrive by Thursday or Friday morning at the latest. On Friday afternoon it will be time for rugby where all teams meet for a Welcome Gathering to set off the weekend. On Saturday afternoon we hold the main rugby event, beer and food will obviously be made available at the playing venue. The games are played in 15s format and the normal Rugby World laws of rugby apply apart from no pushing in the scrums, no lifting in the line outs and no kicking outside the 22. The teams are normally split into groups and a league stage is played in each group. The top teams play for the tournament trophy while the bottom teams play for the wooden spoon. After the matches there is a presentation and 3rd half at the rugby club house and in the evening there is a fancy dress party with lots of drinking and partying till the early hours of the morning. On Sunday its a free day or activity day finishing off with an optional end of tournament dinner. We provide full travel packages including or excluding flights at great value so send us your inquiry now and let us deal with your rugby tour requirements for next year, its much easier than you think and we look forward to host you on our islands for a memorable rugby tour organised in the true spirit of this great game.

In essence we had a super time that was extremely well organised by a company that loves rugby and totally understood what our needs would be and of only met them, exceeded most of them! Thanks so much, we will be back!
Wonderful how the whole organisation worked on plan. Wonderful spirit at the tournament, very fair and a lovely dinner!
Just wanted to say a huge thank you on behalf of Nelson RFC, we had great weekend away, really enjoyed Malta. Sorry for any grievance caused by a few of the boys getting a bit out of hand. Thanks again.
