Malta’s idyllic weather, good rugby facilities, and welcoming community make it the perfect destination for your sevens rugby tour. The teams are comfortably accommodated in the lively seaside town of St. Julian’s. The resort provides lots of entertaining opportunities within a vibrant atmosphere throughout your stay. The tournament spans two action-packed days, typically taking place on a Saturday and Sunday. On the first day, we split all the participating teams into groups for an exciting qualifying round of rugby sevens. Each team engages in thrilling matches, showcasing their skills and competing fiercely for a spot in the final round. On the second day, the sevens rugby competition intensifies as teams battle it out for ultimate victory. Over the course of the tournament, each team typically plays 5 to 7 matches, offering ample opportunities to integrate with other teams from around Europe as well as local teams.
Sunday marks a momentous time for celebration. A lively post-match gathering follows, with customary rugby games and banter. This sets the right mood for a joyful evening. Soon after, we transfer back to hotel to get ready for the grand ceremony. During the evening there will be a presentation followed by a traditional food feast and a final party night in town. This event is an established opportunity for social sevens rugby teams to mix, compete and share the true spirit of this great game on the beautiful islands of Malta.
On the last evening, you will attend a presentation dinner with all other participating teams, followed by an unforgettable night out in the vibrant St. Julian’s to finish off the party in style.
