Calling all young rugby enthusiasts! Get ready to embark on a rugby adventure on foreign soil at the Malta Youth Rugby Festival. With ideal weather, good facilities, a welcoming local rugby fraternity, and a wide range of additional entertainment options, Malta offers the perfect backdrop for a remarkable rugby experience with safety as our top priority in this country where fun and happiness are the order of the day.
In collaboration with the MRFU (Malta Rugby Football Union), our festival spans two action-packed days. On the first day, we first stage a coaching class mixing all teams on a drill grid, finishing off with a short touch event. In the afternoon teams participate in the 15s event, with shortened games that allow everyone to showcase their skills and enjoy the thrill of the sport at its best. Each team typically plays 2-3 games, with 10-15 minute halves. The second day, all teams compete in a 7s event, ensuring more games and increased opportunities to display champaign rugby in this exciting and thrilling fast version of the game. The festival culminates with a memorable presentation ceremony and an on-pitch party where food and drinks are available for all.
The fun doesn’t end on the field. In the evening, all teams come together for a lively BBQ party night at the prestigious Marsa Sports Club. It’s an opportunity to unwind, connect with fellow rugby enthusiasts, and create memories that will last a lifetime. In addition to the festival activities, we offer a range of optional experiences to add even more fun for your players. Take a boat trip to explore Malta’s beautiful coastline, embark on exciting excursions and activities, or enjoy a water sports party. Our experienced team will ensure that every moment is filled with excitement and adventure.
